I use dropbox combined with SyncToy (free). SyncToy automatically backs up all my folders to dropbox every night, so I have never have to worry. I have a couple computers (at home and in the cloud), so all the data gets combined to my one dropbox account. Also have my important websites (that run on wordpress) back up to my dropbox account on a weekly basis (there is a free plugin for this).

As safe measure, I then have my entire dropbox account backed up to a local hard drive in my house.

I got burned a couple months ago, but with my new system everything is automatic and has already saved me once!

Here is the details of how I setup the automatic backups - http://www.takingoffthesuit.com/backing-up-your-f...

AND your domain has ALOT of AGE and AUTHORITY, so it can take a large link building campaign. I think a campaign of platinum size on a brand new domain would yield different results (sandboxing, less effective, etc.)

Google, Yahoo, Bing, Twitter, Flickr.......I think the point is that a domain name won't make your business, the idea will!

Has WeWood been contacting affiliate bloggers to promote their affiliate program? JohnChow recently did a review of their watches as well....or maybe just a coincidence?

Either way the watches look pretty cool!

Calm down Houston. My post had nothing to do about "honest/not honest living". It was not meant to be offensive or "fucking retarded", nor had anything to do with the "pole smoking" of corporate america. Your comment is the only thing that is offensive here.

EDIT: Just saw that your not even considered an adult in your country, so not surprised by the childish comment now. You are excused.

I should have clarified what I meant by "real job" in my comment. I meant corporate "traditional jobs". I completely agree that IM/Affiliate marketing IS a real job (I quit my corporate job a month ago to start my own business online).

Anyways, let me elaborate on my comment above so you understand what I was getting at:.

For any small business owner there are many common traps and pitfalls that they can easily fall into (learning how to manage cash flow, learning how to manage client relationships, learning how to hire staff, leaning how to manage teams, managing inventory, just to name a few!).

There are some things that school doesn't teach you, that you learn from experience. Lorenzo got his experience "on his own" (ie. starting his own business directly out of university), and I got my experience in the corporate world. My question was simply if he ever feels that he has missed something as we have very different backgrounds.

You can learn these skills on your own (mostly through reading/trial and error), as Lorenzo has, but I am of the (biased) opinion that there is something to be said for the experiences gained from the corporate world. In my time "wearing a suit" I have gained invaluable experience that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. To name a few skills off the top of my head I have recruited and worked on hiring programs (re: finding and retaining talent), I have done client proposals and won new business, I have managed billion dollar clients, I have worked extensively in finance and accounting, I have managed international teams of 100+ people on projects that span over a year and have worked abroad.

All those skills/experiences were backed by million dollar training programs that taught me how to execute with results. These programs are based on studies and mistakes made by the corporations over the years. I benefit by learning from THEIR mistakes and not MY mistakes.

I agree - You CAN learn all those above skills with an IM business. But you have to do it on your own and YOU have to make the mistakes. That's the difference and that's the questions I was asking. I am asking the opinion f someone that has a different background to me what their opinion is on the matter.

"There were literally nights I couldn’t go to sleep because I’d made so much money that day and was worried. Weird, I know, but a whole other world opens up when you start making so much mone"

Ha - I'm just starting up (34th day full-time!) and I can't sleep some night when I get a single clickbank sale! Hopefully the money will start to follow those sleepness nights for me!
