We shouldn't make this about Democrat or Republican or Obama, it is about Americans. It is about Americans standing up to say that what is happening in Washington is WRONG. You are correct that neither party is going to change their ways unless their jobs are threatened. The key is to make it about ALL of them, taking sides will allow them to continue blaming everyone else, we need to make sure they all know they are on the chopping block.

1. Repeal the 16th Amendment to the Constitution and replace the income tax with the FairTax.
2. Two terms per elected official.
3. Federal judges limited to eight years.
4. Abolish the Federal Reserve and return to the gold standard.
5. Senators and Congressman should give up their salaries and there should be no retirement plan unless it is a 401k like the rest of us has, with no matching funds from the taxpayers.
6. Healthcare and any other benefits provided to Congress today should be abolished, they should pay for their own health insurance, life insurance, etc.
7. Review every text book used in the public school system to ensure the “real” American history is being taught.
8. Abolish the teachers union; attach an amount of money to every child for their education, that money follows them through their 12 years, and can be used in any school, parochial schools, public schools, home schools, private schools, etc.
9. Teach all philosophies in public schools including Judeo-Christian philosphy.
10. Lawyers and lobbyists cannot be public officials
11. The electorate must be educated. A test should be required before a person is allowed to vote to ensure we know our history, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and who is running for office, and why.
12. Pass a balanced budget amendment to the constitution.
13. Cut the budget 5% per year.
14. Return to a philosophy of states rights.
15. Government workers cannot be unionized, and are not eligible for annual bonuses of any kind, if you want to work for an annual bonus, join the private sector.
16. Abolish civil service, pay for performance, and right to work, no protections.
17. No federal funding for science, or the arts, they can be funded by the private sector.
18. Resign from the United Nations, and close the headquarters in New York.
19. No aid to foreign countries until we clean up our act and take care of our people.
20. CLOSE the borders for at least two years, clean up the system, track down those who have over stayed their welcome and send them home, deport all criminal illegal aliens, and any illegal alien whether they are criminals or not, if discovered are deported. Find some smart people in the private sector (there are lots of them!) to set up a track system, a reporting system, and hire people to keep track this is IMPORTANT!
21. NO lobbying.
