Hey, just to (potentially) disturb you even further, the Cool Lime Refresher has no mint in it whatsoever. I'm a Starbucks barista, lol.
They've been really popular at my location in Bellevue so far. It's hit and miss, I guess. I actually like the Cool Lime quite a bit.

That's not really poor writing. They just used a different word than "man".

Not sure why you got TD'd. People like tiktok are what's wrong with our nation: they want everything done by someone else.
You use it, you pay for it.

When you're at that amount per hour, even $1 less could mean big differences in your quality of life, especially in an area as expensive as Seattle.
These people could, quite literally, be fighting for their ability to house and clothe themselves and their families properly.

Like I've pointed out in a few other posts, my own union (UFCW 21) had negotiations last year. As was the case there, my employer wanted to cut everything possible, from increasing the number of hours required to advance up the pay scale to holiday pay to our health coverage. From this article, it sounds like the same situation here. They are concerned about proposed cuts to what they already have.
I say good on them.

I am a grocery worker and member of UFCW 21. As I remember, we were able to reverse a majority of the cuts proposed by our employers.
Unions do work and my years of experience and dependability as an employee are my leverage. I'm sure as heck a lot more profitable and valuable to my employer than someone they have to train off of the street.

My last contract negotiations were to keep my little all - my employer was using "this economy" as a reason to decimate my hourly pay and benefits when they certainly weren't hurting for anything. We sure as heck weren't asking for more.

"Rosario said the janitors perform backbreaking labor often until the early morning hours, earning an average of about $12 an hour."
That doesn't sound like ".10 above minimum wage".
