Folks, the most powerful thing we can do to get the attention of those in DC, is: On August 3, 2009, every American citizen fed up with the direction Obama is taking us, should stay home from work for one full week. Can you imagine the dismay if millions of Americans took this action in unison? They do not listen to our phone calls, nor do they read our emails or faxes. I will call in sick with swine flu on 8/3/09, and I hope you, and everyone you can contact, will do the same. THIS WILL WORK. DO IT, FOR YOURSELF AND FOR YOUR CHILDREN. The madness and power grab by the DC politicians must be stopped, and this is the biggest thing we can do to make our voices heard.
I don't see how a business enterprise can be held accountable for what an individual might say in a "live" situation. Whatever happened to taking responsibility for your own words or actions? People need to police themselves, rather than look for laws that hold a group responsible for the actions of the individual. Those laws only make the lawyers rich. Using obscenities to express yourself (except under extreme circumstances of anger or stress, such as when you hit your thumb with a hammer) is the first resort of the unlearned. There are many acceptable words you can use to present your point of view. No need to resort to vulgarities. In any case, down the road, I think Bill Maher could be in trouble (as well as every brain-dead Hollywood type who needs a little publicity).
Well, Philip, we could do that, but then what will we do when they start hitting our country hard? I bet we can't count on you to stand up and fight. Lefties don't fight, they just whine and slobber. Because they cannot come up with any common sense ideas of their own, they spew vile and vulgar comments toward those who think protecting our country is paramount. They think this covers up the fact they don't have a whole and functioning brain in the bunch.
I believe your new President is getting an education as to the realities of living in a world where power hungry despots will always reside. Unfortunately, how much damage will he do to America before his one term is over? Will we be able to recover? We need nuclear power plants NOW, so we can stop the $800 billion annually going to these nasty people. They live off the money from oil, and windmills and solar power won't cut it. We can build nuclear plants now! BTW, can we have some screaming headlines from the mainstream media on a body count since January 20? Can we have a little more noise on how Obama the Idealist has put our soldiers and intelligence people in greater jeopardy with his quest to bash those who have gone before, hoping it will make him look better? How about a real assessment of what his "reaching out" has gained for the free world. How many troops did he secure from the rest of the free world to help us remain free? People, get your turbans and burqahs ready.
If the idiot Left did not oppose nuclear power plants, we would be out from under the oil all those countries live on. Not needing so much oil is what will make them "dwindle" (along with Chavez) because oil is their life's blood. Other countries are doing quite well with nuclear power, but the Left, with their Hollywood IQ's, just don't get it. Obama would rather have GE building windmills and solar panels, which is just another payback for GE's campaign support of Obama. God help us withstand this fool that the dumbheads put in power.
Well, Vern, don't think we will win. Iran will be all over those Iraqis and as soon as they can perfect their nuclear weaponry, they will be on to Pakistan and Afghanistan. So far, America has been the only country truly limiting nuclear capability around the globe. Once Obama has quashed our will and abillity to do that, there will be real terror in the world. And, believe me, even Obama will call it terror.
VP Biden doesn't warrant our comments. He is a non-entity. Obama does not know what to do with the guy. Did Obama choose Biden just to make us think he is an equal opportunity employer and not opposed to hiring the mentally challenged? He ruined that one with his Special Olympics comment. Some will excuse him for this remark, saying he intended no ridicule, but when you are speaking off the cuff, sometimes your inner self exposes itself.

Hey......while we are at it, what do you think about releasing detainees into America? I think it's a great idea. Perhaps there are a couple of cottages available in Hyannisport, or Cape Cod. I am certain there are little used places in the White House where they could be made comfy. In any event, Pelosi, Reid, or Biden will be happy to provide housing for them in their communities, where secret service personnel can guard them, and they will receive all the love and security due them for plotting to kill our people.
