For a rich NY socialite whose deceased ex-husband disagrees with you from "the other side", you write pretty good!

Keep torturing those im-moderate Islamists with the words of a free-thinking outspoken American woman!

(note to those who haven't been keeping up -- references to recent NY Times "profile" of Ms. Geller, with the typical NY Times level of 'pulled out of our posterior' factual accuracy)

The focus fine-tuning is a start, but it's not a complete solution. You will get different results (optimal adjustment settings) at different focal lengths (for a zoom) and at different focal distances (for all lenses, depending on the lens design).

Sure-fire result is with manual focus (LiveView with display screen zoom is a tremendous help for manual focus), but this takes time. For the rest of us, pick the most likely use for your lens (close/far distance, wide/long zoom), and make that your default. Or 'calibrate' you lens at various extreme settings and pick an adjustment setting somewhere in the middle.

The next logical progression of this capability is for the camera to store and use a 2D matrix of settings which correspond to focus distance and focal length.
