John has been an avid hiker since before he & Virginia met. That is a passion that they both share. As stated in the article, John (and Virginia too) is a very responsible person, and it would not be like him to just disappear. I too think that he's had some sort of accident. We're asking everyone we know to pray for his safe return and that the searchers find him quickly. I'm sure that there are other emotions the family is feeling and being annoyed is probably not one of them. I'm with you.... why would someone who doesn't even know them feel "annoyed." NOPE. Can't remember it. Couldn't afford to go, so didn't get to. And that was without even a thought of paying the price of a wedding dress for a high school dance.

By your definition, rape is not a sex-based crime, because it is about control & humiliation & power, not about sex or "getting off." I can believe our society is so self-centered that we have sunk so low as to see this behavior as acceptable.
No, not trying to start a fight. I just know some ladies in that position. They don't make enough to even pay for the basics (food, rent, bus pass), so mace, a gun, pepper spray & CWP's would be a luxury that's way out of reach for them.
Earlier reports said 6900 block. This report said 2900 block. Quite a bit of difference between the two. Anyone know what the real locatoion was?
Some people have no other options.... At least not if they want to keep their job.
