And what business do we have shutting down the national bank of another sovereign country?! It's actions and attitudes like this that make other countries hate and attack us. We would be outraged if other countries flew drones over the US and blew up our citizens. We would be outraged if another country tried to shut down our banks and disrupt our financial systems. Why should we do it to other sovereign nations and expect not to have them retaliate?!?!

Whether the shroud is 'real' or not, it has no bearing on the Christian faith. Those who don't believe aren't going to just because of some piece of cloth. Those who do believe, hopefully, have a deeper faith and if the shroud is a fake they won't denounce Christianity. It's about faith anyway, not the validity of a relic. Hopefully, the shroud is real and if so it offers tangible proof of the crucifixion. But the story doesn't end with the cross. Jesus was resurrected on the third day and is alive today and offers salvation to anyone who believes.
