The urban-rural divide needs no sophisticated analysis. It is simple. People in the urban areas (whatever their ethnicity) are internet savvy, and therefore have access to what the Pakatan parties are saying. Doesn't the BN hear the cry of the Pakatan supporters - that they are voting against corruption and cronyism? People in the rural areas are not internet savvy and are mostly not aware of anything else except what they get to read and hear from the mainstream media. So they listen to only one side of the story - the side that controls the media. But how long can BN go on like that? What is BN doing to counter the allegations and exposes of corruption and cronyism beyond mere denials? We can see around the world that as people get more educated, corrupt governments are bound to fall, sooner or later. Malaysia is no exception. UMNO would be mistaken to think that the Malays will always support them.

PDRM, did you see how peaceful the gathering was in KJ Stadium on 4 May? Please don't fire tear gas on the rakyat and don't be the one to provoke a response, and there will not be any problem. The rakyat wants peace. Not trouble.

Shazuan, thank you for speaking up. You are a fine example for the future of Malaysia. I am sure there are many like you out there. I would encourage you to start a movement among your people who already share your view and aspirations. Make it an independent citizens initiative. Not under the umbrella of any political party, so that no one can accuse you guys of being used or funded by a political party. Stay completely neutral. That is what will capture the minds and imagination of all Malaysians, not just the Malays. My prayer is that Malaysians will be a wonderful example to the rest of the world of how we can live together in harmony. This is so needed in the world today.
