Personally I loved the themes, and was under the impression that we didn't have to follow the theme if we weren't able to or didn't have time to do it. But I understand that it does take some time to get the tins ready and could be difficult.  It's tough, we can't please everyone so you should just do what you feel is good for your site Muffin Tin Mom and don't worry about us we'll still love it :o)
