Kill the "deciders" and dozens will die. Obey the "deciders" and millions will die. What is the right choice? Whether life will reign or death will reign is in the hands of the soldiers and the police. As we have been seeing, the rank and file have not been as stupid as the upper echelon. God is great. As we have been seeing across the globe, true heroism is found in the courage to defy your self-defined leaders. When you see a person wearing a badge, whether it be a uniform, a suit, or an "elected" office, you see a unqualified, impotent deceiver. Your family and your neighbors are your only true friends.
The way that can be followed is not the true way. What about that the way that must be enforced at the end of a gun? Be sane. Seek the truth and obey your sense of right.
My guess: Some mercs were hired by multinationals controlled by U.S. citizens. Our corporate overlords are the only ones with enough clout to force the government into a boneheaded play like this.
The Western elite is just softening up the masses (you and me) for the inevitable intervention. The question I have is will intervention spark a regional conflagration? Then again, the U.S. is broke. I wonder how much the government can really do.

When are we going to stop these evil people? It's as if psychopathy is a requirement for top positions in Western governments.
There's an easy solution to this problem. All Iran has to do is replace their government with some pliant oligarchs, who will then sell off public assets at fire sale prices to insolvent multinationals, who will then arbitrage Iran's import and export markets until the country is broke. Then Iran can reduce itself to penury by eliminating taxes for the wealthy and foreign businesses, and taking out loans from the World Bank and the IMF, the interest on which to be paid by sucking the blood out of the most vulnerable segments of society.
It's so simple. Why is Iran so intransigent?
