For some reason my first gen iphone keeps rebooting. I have uninstalled 3.0 think that it might be the problem. I am now back to using 2.2.1 jailbroken firmware. I have tried multiple different firmwares and I am having the same problem every time. Is there a solution to this restarting issue? Or something I am missing perhaps? Thanks

Very strange problem here. My iPhone First Gen keeps rebooting. After it reboots I cannot access WiFi or Bluetooth and all of the app store apps crash when I open them. I have restored my iPhone 2 times with my custom firmware and that hasn't solved anything. I am now trying someone else's custom firmware and I am hoping it works. Is anyone else having this problem? Any Solutions?

I was successfully able to upgrade to 3.0. Thank You Dev-Team! I have this one issue however that I cannot figure out. My phone reboots itself every few minutes. It's very annoying seeing that pineapple on the screen every few minutes. Is there a solution for this, or is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks

Is there any hope at all of fixing this or is my iphone officially dead?

I let it sit for about 30 minutes awhile ago. I tried plugging it in just now. Still getting a blank screen. This sucks :(

Yep, just tried that. It's still a blank screen.

Ok. So i was attempting to use the suggestion to get rid of the 1600 error and now my first gen iPhone wont turn on. And by not turn on i mean nada. I've been letting it charge for an hour just in case it was the battery and nothing has worked. Reseting doesn't work. I can't think of anything else. Is my beloved iPhone a goner?

It's not allowing me to downgrade at all right now. When I tried that it gave me Error 20.

I really need some help. I have the custom 3.0 firmware and attempted to install it. I was running 3.0 firmware on my 1st gen iPhone prior to attempting the custom firmware upgrade. I have tried to roll back to 2.2.1 and can't. In recovery mode i get Error 20 and in DFU mode I get Error 1600. I've tried multiple versions of iTunes and nothing is working. Please Help!

I am very new to this and have a few questions. From what I understand, I have to wait until Friday for Ultrasn0w to unlock my iPhone. Here is my question (s): I have never done anything like this before so I'll need some very simple steps. I want to use my T-Mobile Sim card in my First Gen iPhone running Firmware 3.0. What applications will I need and what are the steps to unlocking my device. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm not very tech savvy.
