I do worry about us WHU supporters... every 6 months everyone calls for the manager's head - only Avram Grant deserved the sack.

I'm probably the only one on this site that, even if we only made the play-off's and didn't make it through - I'd stick with Sam - for at least 3 seasons... if by then there is no progress, then get the next man in.

Can anyone explain to me why Big Sam is getting Diouf in? Surely our worst injuries are midfield and defence... I seriously believe he's turning us into "Bolton Mk II - The Revenge of Sam"

We have a massively tough run of next games... if we maintain 4th I'd be happy.
My prediction: Draw with Blackpool, loss to Southampton, Win v Brighton, draw v Leicester...

do you think we'll lose/ gain any more signings? I still think we are light on centre backs and don't get why we've got Cole, Carew, Piquionne and Nouble in the same line up... (???... But in Fat Sam I trust - sort of!) :D

Has the "Loans" window closed yet (if it ever does)? I'm wondering too about how are we going to keep a rather a lot of midfielders happy... I know there's a shed load of games, but I do see issues arising with who gets the nod in midfield and attack.

On the whole, I was very pleased with the transfer window - and slightly relieved when Scotty P went to The Spuds.

My opinion on Fat Sam is changing, but I'm not yet totally sold. I watched the two home games and there still seemed too much hoof ball for my liking and still a sense of panic when the oppo turned on the juice - Snodders and Gradel really did cause us issues.
