People love to hate on WP7 because it just doesn't work as well as other OS's. But I applaud them for their efforts because frankly they're the only ones that are "thinking ouside the box", while others are just following Apple's lead.

I hope Microsoft can fix the showstopping bugs that have been in WP7 for a while now, so it can finally become a real competitor in the OS arena.

VMWare Fusion seemed to have dissapeared. No reason to buy the bundle any more in my opinion.

If I was a business owner, I would go out of my way to avoid PayPal. Paying a little more per transaction isn't a big deal, and Square seems awesome.

I hope Square keeps their simplicity. Trying to add on features at this point would bring it to the level of bloat and then it would be no different from their competitors.

Having no bezel is beautiful, but it's not going to happen. Forcing you to touch part of the screen just to hold the device just isn't going to work any time soon, at least not until accidental touch detection has advanced significantly.

But holograms? That's awesome. Shut up and take my money.

I don't understand all the hate for this. Some say Apple is going to clamp down the Mac so you can't install anything from anywhere except the Mac App Store. I just don't think this is going to happen. Apple knows that all devs aren't going to join the store, and if they forced distribution through the MAS they're smart enough to know that a lot of devs would jump ship. Just not happening.

I'd say this is an awesome security precaution. Kudos to the engineers who came up with this. Prevents the new Mac users from unintentionally installing malware, while it also enables power users to disable this precaution and go back to work. Win win.

Or for the conspiracists among you, perhaps this is a plan by True Knowledge to get a huge number of sales of Evi "before Apple pulls it". It sounds evil, sure, but it wouldn't be too far out. Who knows?

Great ad. They simplified the details behind cloud sync, and just presented it as a way to have your stuff everywhere. One of the best.

I can't wait to transfer all my school documents over to iCloud and use this good stuff! The only thing holding me back is the lack of compatibility for other platforms, namely Android. I have an HP Touchpad with The Green Bot on it, and I use it to display school docs and stuff during lectures. I can't do without DropBox at the moment to get my documents onto my tablet, but if there's some way to access iCloud on Android in the future I'll be all over it.

I'm a developer. So I'll give a developer's standpoint.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Sorry for the caps, but imagine the pain we'd have to go through to change all of our apps to fit the new aspect ratio. Old apps would appear fuzzy/stretched, and then comes the dreaded word: fragmentation. I know Android developers have had to deal with this for, well, forever. But that's the joy of making apps for iOS. Add a 4-inch screen to the mix and we'd see the app quality go downhill for quite a while. I doubt this would happen.
