I agree with most of the criticisms but the fact is midway through the 3rd quarter we were up 17-7 and looked headed for a solid if unspectacular win. What happened after that? Was it physical? Did everyone get tired or was there a critical injury? Were our schemes so simple that CSU adjusted? If so why did it take them so long? It looked like after that 3rd quarter TD the coaches said, ‘We got this game won, send in the 5th string’. What happened???

Compared to last years game the offense gained 268 more yards and scored 17 more points. Huge improvement. (I didn’t include the turnover TD.)

Those two short years subsequent to the Hawk we were 15-11 with 2 bowl games, one win, with the national press and CU administration trying to sabotage the team. I thought that was pretty good results considering the situation.

I agree with everyone else, the administration needs to support the team. What upset me about the Barnett situation was the administration seemed to be saying ‘The football team is unclean! We must redeem ourselves by having a bad team.‘ We have been bad for 7 years, that is long enough for redemption.

I don’t believe this! This is a repeat of the Barnett situation. A nothing story becomes a national witch hunt. I think that around the year 2000 a sports facility was built on an ancient Indian burial ground. Tear it down quick!
