Thanks for your feedback, Phil. I, too, thought I could plug that sucker in and make a latte right away. Then I realized there was a mandatory 5X cleaning cycle. Then it seemed I had to do a cleaning cycle, every time, before I could brew a cup.

I drove to Starbucks for my latte this morning, I'm too much an addict not to. The machine is all packed up and will ship back today.

At least with empty nest, I could still talk to him. This is letters-only for a month. I'm hoping to receive his first letter today. His drill instructor told us that all the boys wrote letters on Sunday. *fingers crossed* Other than that, we scour through 300 photos everyday looking for a glimpse of him on Facebook and wait with anticipation for his drill instructor's updates. He looks to be doing well. I just really miss him. I don't think I would make a very good military mom.
