If you want to post your newsletter as posts in Wordpress using MailChimp as your delivery service than yes you are going to want to setup a separate rss feed for your newsletter posts with Feedburner before you follow through with setting up anything in MailChimp.

Honestly, if someone is going to breach the login to your backend, chances are it doesn't make a difference if it's password protected or not, and if you have a strong password. Fact of the matter is hackers will find a way in if they know you have a Wordpress site and they want to bring you down for whatever reason.

If you are concerned with your site's security I suggest using the Secure Wordpress plugin, making sure you chmod all directories, utilize your robot.txt file to block certain directories from being indexed, and renaming your database table prefixes to something other than "wordpress" or "wp".

Hey Phillip welcome to the Blogosphere: a place where egos and agendas are as big as Mt. Everest. Don't worry though. There are plenty of good people here who know a lot and are genuinely good people willing to share what they have learned.

Here you will find a growing community ranging from fresh out of the womb newbies to Doogie Howser wiz kids. It's all good. If you have any questions or need some help just let me know.

Eric, some good suggestions. I totally agree with dumping inactive users, MLM gurus and twammers, but self promotion and auto following are quintessential elements of Twitter when used responsibly.

I really loved the electric dog collar Doritos commercial. I can't seem to remember any of the other ones.

Hey Robert, Thanks for your suggestions and support. It's funny because I want to be involved in everything when I work on a site: from front-end to back-end to SEO and I've taught myself nearly everything I know (with a lot more to digest). I will definitely start looking at iMaps. To be honest I've heard of them, but not to familiar with how to make them. Take care.
