I just said a prayer for Robert and your family (and the doctors and nurses who are caring for him). I hope God brings peace, comfort and healing.
Be sure to include an ice machine. We're always running low on ice at our house.
I, too, love this artwork. It looks beautiful in the Green Home. I'm being careful not to turn the air conditioning on too much on the many hot days (kind of diffucult where I live in Southern California) and avoiding using the heater at all (not so difficult where I live).
Either Spokane, WA or Portland, OR would be great locations for the next Green Home. Somewhere that is not too humid and hot.
California is checking in, too.
I'm hoping this new dream home will have a little stable to keep a couple of horses. It looks like great horseback riding country, and it would be wonderful to be able to stable our own horse(s). Also, a fenced in area for a dog would be greatly appreciated. It would also be great if one of the 3 bedrooms was designed/decorated as a guest room, rather than specifically as another children's room. I'm sure with a beautiful home like this, you'd have lots of guests coming to visit. Maybe the guest room could be on the first floor, too, so that it is accessible to those who can't manage stairs. Then, again, an elevator would solve a lot of accessibility issues. I'm sure looking forward to seeing the floorplans and artist's rendering for this home.
How can it be too early for a floorplan, when they're already in the midst of building the house?
It's great to finally know the location of the 2011 Dream Home. I've never been to Vermont, but the video makes it look like a wonderful place to live and play. Can't wait to hear more about this new Dream Home and all the wonderful features it will have.
I would choose Oregon or Washington State. Lots of great restaurants, fresh fruit, wine, seafood, and fresh air to breathe, as well.
Let's add a guest house. It was great that they included a casita with the last Dream home.
