Not a big fan of Reid, don;t hate him, but don't think he is good enough. Not his fault the way he was announced, but all that 'we've signed a young player who starred for his country in the World Cup' was too much.

Barrera is the same exact he has had a chance and I don't see many redeeming characteristics, always seems afraid to me.

Agree on Diamanti. Thought he was poor today. Gives away stupid fouls all the time. Though it was a generally poor performance, though agree Tomkins and Faubert did well. Re Spector, he did OK, but seems to me we need a left footed player at left back.

On a more general point, not sure what anybody else thinks, but our passing has not been good enough all season. Not one midfielder has really excelled in this area. Noble tried a bit more today and Collison generally uses the ball well, but the other midfielders haven't been up to the mark all season.

I thought Nouble did alright, offered more than Tristan last year and about the same as Franco. Worse touch maybe, but more pace and mobiliiy.

Our passing was often woeful. I think Kovac is getting better, but his passing is shocking. Jimenez was very poor. I agree no harm sending him back and freeing up the wage bill. Trying to work out if he wants to be there.

Think Daprela did alright, should start next game Ilunga not fit.

I am inclined to become a big fan of Diamanti, but he is not fit enough still. His token gestures to make tackles towards the end of each game are ridiculous.

I think Diamante might be the guy that can really get us out of trouble. I know he goes down easy, but he is moving around better, beats a few men now and today he seemed to cut out his forty yard shots.

Other than that think Chelski were poor and we were pretty good. Faubert even looked like a right back.

First up, 100% agree on Jason Burt, he seems to have the inside line. This story read like a conversation with Scott D.

Coming out of January with 1.5 strikers and no recognisable right back was bound to leave us in this sort of situation. If money is so short that the sponsor is fronting money for players, its hard to blame the football side of the business for the gaps in the squad.

From what I recall last year, Bellamy was a big part of the turnaround (probably because he was agitating for a move) We need to find that level of quality, Diamanti may be it. Seems his mobility has improved since he got here and I don't remember a better striker of the ball at West Ham.

I worry we won't get top dollar for Upson, unless Man Citeh, Spurs and maybe Liverpool all want a bit of him an we get an auction. Even if we do, who are the players that'll come that'll improve our chances. Tough to get decent players in Jan. That January splurge a couple of years ago only really turned up Lucas Neill in terms of making a difference to the run in.

Not sure if we can have the time to integrate Balotelli and Chamakh in the time we have, though we clearly need bodies up front. I'm not crazy about Benjani, but he has done it a little bit in this league, maybe Beattie is an option.
