Good luck finding fresh tuna. It is a rare treat in Buenos Aires. I found it at the restaurant at the Japanese Gardens once.

I still say Osaka is the best in Buenos Aires. They even have a decent spicy roll, but of course, they are relative expensive and you need a reservation.

There is no problem if you are traveling inside the country. They do not check.

You're the first person I've heard of to get a 5 year visa in Buenos Aires. So far, everyone has said they do not give Americans 5 year visas here. Maybe this is a new policy?

Yep, they are going to charge you. One day is still one day too much.

Pablo - thanks for the comments and stopping by. I've learned a lot about the city and people in the last 6+ months. Definitely a fan of Buenos Aires and porteños.

Once your tourist visa expires by even 1 day, you can no longer renew at Migraciones and must pay the fee for overstaying at the airport. Both fees are now $300 pesos, but paying at Migraciones only gets another 90 days. You could technically overstay as long as you wanted and then only pay $300 pesos, but a lot of people like to comply with the law in case of any future issues.

Great examples. For additional performance tweaks, I'd also recommend using Xcache and the Xcache plugin for Wordpress (http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=12). This plugin caches Wordpress variables in memory.

I'd also add the wp-optimize plugin to remove post revisions as well as optimize database tables.
