"be seeing you."
can't wait. so i guess no. 2 won't be played by a string of actors this time, i loved that about the original, some higher power "deleting" the number two's when they couldn't extract information from six. i also couldn't imagine a better two than ian mckellen. wow. stoked. i don't mind caveizel but he's no patrick mcgoohan, we'll see.
sorry, it was late. i had low blood sugar. but seriously, this is a fun story and it looks to me like they've turned it into maid in manhattan. what a shame.
this book is great. i hate the trailer. i hate the stupid song that they play, i hate this, hate, hate, hate. damn it. oh man, i hate this trailer. so much. was bummed at their cast but was ready to deal with it. but man, oh, pissed at this trailer, i hate them. screw this, read the book, great story, don't see this movie. damn it.
i was going to say sign me up, damn it! but seriously, where do i sign up? what an amazing cast. and i haven't read any dennis lehane but the film versions of his stories have so far been quite riveting, (mystic river, gone baby gone), i am so on board for this after that trailer. wow.
i totally agree, he would make a great mad max. i did like him in salvation, awful movie, but it had some good moments. and i am looking forward to this for some reason, though i'm usually skeptical of remakes. but it has a good cast so far. we shall see.
just got back from seeing it, i am a die hard evil dead fan, and while i wouldn't put this in the same shoebox with those movies, i did really enjoy it. maybe because it's such a wink to those movies. (ash's oldsmobile, the laughing entity, floating guy who should have said "i'll swallow your soul"). I could have done without alot of the CGI, some of it was poorly done, and i could have used a blood geyser or two but all in all, it's a notch above any other recent american horror flick. it will divide people who aren't familiar with raimi's zany style, the person i was with hated it with a passion, but who needs them anyway.
i don't even know what to think about this. i'm left feeling kind of confused, a little dirty and slightly hungry. hmmmm.
looks good. i'm hooked. fanboys was meh. i still think attack of the clone fanboys could be funny though. dig it.
if eliza dushku is the leader of the ghostbusters, i'm going to hurt myself and anyone standing near me when i find out. i hate how this movie sounds already, leave it alone.
oh so good to hear all these good words directed at a new gilliam movie. can't wait. i actually quite liked tideland, it was rather unsettling, and i like being unsettled. this looks like classic brazil/munchausen fare, that clip is fantastic, can't wait to see it in context. consider me jazzed.
