Alaskans are not benefitting. Where are you getting the news? Chevron just cut 25+ jobs, Conoco and BP want nothing to do with AGEA, and have stated that they will not develop new projects on state land because the taxes are way too high. Those are good paying Alasksan jobs we're loosing there! And now our republican legisators are looking into have ACES replealled (sp?).
And no! I'm not a lefty! For goodness sake please be civil! I have and always will be conservative. Don't assume that because I don't like her (professionally) I'm some Obama drone. Good greif, man, people can disagree once in a while.

If you believe she didn't look at a million+ book deal in one hand and plummiting popularity + ethics complaints in the other hand and didn't follow the money, you've been swindled. I was too! Good God, you can not be conservative and let Hollis French write the state budget! Do you wonder why the democrats loved her so much (pre- VP nom)? My point is, here you have a guest expressing valid concerns about wether or not she is a good candidate for president, and everyone tears the poor guy apart. You won't even hear a differing opinion on Palin, not even form your own side. You've assumed that everyone that's not for Palin is some liberal troll. It's simply not true. I'm as dyed in the wool conservative as they come and I can not name a single policy she has instated that was conservative! If you can, please tell me. Sure, she's had some great speaches, but her walk doesn't match her talk. I just got a huge thumbs down for agreeing with the guy. Come on folks, let's have a debate here! I don't hate the woman, I've met her before and she's a very nice person! Just please, can we talk policy (or lack thereof)?
You're right and it's sad to see. My fellow conservatives who blindly support her have little or no clue what the real body of work is. SHe's a nice lady, I don't hate her, but I could never vote for her. She's a political disaster who all but threw up her middle finger at the state after the RNC. She's given some nice speeches, that's about it, and I pray that's what she sticks too.
