Oh, get real, people. The tag lines and headlines for this story are so mis-leading and distorted that they verge on actual falsehoods. Does anyone really think that the President or the Feds had anything to do with the appearance of a SWAT team at some obscure Tea Party rally? Frankly, they have a lot better things to do than worry about little things, and this event certainly wasn't that important, no matter what the Tea Partiers involved may like to think. The SWAT team was probably sent in by a local official over-reacting to the situation. Judging from the comments on this story, it's not the White House that's paranoid and self-centered.

Ah, the pot calling the kettle black. Apparently it's okay to use all sorts of extreme invective to characterize the president and the Democratic Party as 'radical left-wingers', 'socialists', 'anti-American', etc., but it's wrong for them to characterize the Republicans and Tea Partiers as anything but upstanding defenders of freedom. Isn't a little hypocritical to condemn someone for doing essentially the same thing that you're doing?

P.S., as far as being 'Socialist', in fact Obama's program to date would scarcely qualify as Social Democrat in most countries in Europe, let alone 'Socialist'.
