I have Jaibroken my iphone 2G for OS 3.0 and it has been working perfectly fine. Now I want to activate GPRS for my iPhone, But I cant find the "Cellular Data Network" option under Settings>General>Network. Because of this I am not able to enable the Internet Tethering.
I have already installed the Custom APN Settings.
Can u pls help me bring this option ?????

Can anyone who has updated to 3.01 let me know if they still facing the problems for sms (messages) disappearing in 3.0.1 or it has been resolved?
I upgraded my iphone 2G from 1.1.1 to 3.0 & restored the entire backup. Now when i receive the new sms i can see it in the preview screen but once I open SMS apps i cant find that sms. It vanishes somewhere !!!
Pls let me know so that I can upgrade my iphone .......

I have jailbroked & unlocked my iphone 2G using redsn0w 0.8. I am on OS 3.0.
Also I have installed the APN through custom setup as I dont see the option Settings->General->Nework->Cellular Data Network in my iphone 3.0.
Now I have a problem in activating Internet Tethering on my iphone as I dont see the Settings > General > Network > Internet Tethering option in my iphone 3.0.
Any idea how to bring this? I am in India & using the Airtel Network.
Pls Help ....

I have updated my iphone 2G to OS 3.0 & have jailbroken & unlocked using redsn0w 0.8. Phone is working perfectly fine. But when i try to connect it with itunes for sync it doesn't detect it & gives error ''iphone has been detected but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iphone, then try again'
I am not able to detect the phone in itunes 8.2.1.6. I am using Windows XP.
I tried with other laptop which has Vista & there the itunes detects the iphone.
Dont know how to resolve this problem......
