Funny, because I just said this on Sunday. I'm kind of glad they did this.

It would be interesting. Who would be the 2-hitter?

Counting stats-wise? I am building in missed time for a DL-stint with some malady. Maybe he doesn't miss any time but I think you have to expect something given the missed time in the last three years.

That, and the the profile is stable, but Pedroia possesses league-average power and league-average speed. Pedroia makes the most of his skill set though and really hammers at Fenway, but I think in a 2-hole projection of 80+ RBI and 110 runs scored is a pretty favorable level. Also his hit rate was like 33% so even a few ticks back to the league average of 30% and it would be hard for him to hit .315.

He's a stud no matter which way you bet it.

On average MLB OFers see 560 PAs per year. Before I start doing any work on this, what threshhold is appropriate to you?

Prince Fielder I think was the only guy last year to play all 162 games.

If I had enough free time I would gladly take on your challenge. I'll see what I can do.

Run Prevention is a function of Wins. WAR is a measurement of wins. JD Drew's contribution to the bottom line in 2008 and 2009 was 4 and 5 wins respectively.
