my only question is, what is all this mets history that we're supposed to be celebrating and seeing all over citifield? with the history we have, i'm glad there's not a lot around the new ball park to remember it. Some of you have been misguided. I don't want a stadium like the Yankees have, because frankly, we're no the Yankees. We DON'T have a great history. Deal with it.

The thing that bothers me is, that the Mets continue to make Suppan look like a good pitcher, while the rest of the league has caught on that Suppan actually sucks. When will the Mets?

i believe DL'ing Pelf means him missing 2 starts, which is unnecessary, which is good news concerning the severity of the injury.

stokes has options remaining? O'day is the last guy in the pen, and this pen could probably use a long guy, so keeping Figgy up after this spot start is smart all around. I have absolutely no problem with this move.

well, Gallardo does have great stuff, and he is dealing, so it's not that surprising. But, we'll see if he can hold up, we know Santana can do this all game.

yup, bottom of the order needs some improvement, and moving Castillo to the 2 spot lengthens the lineup.

Agreed, with the play Castillo is playing, his ability to get on base is probably more needed in the 2 spot. I think it's a bit overrated about having a fast #8 hitter so your pitcher can sacrifice for him.
