You've undoubtedly seen the DVD "Skin and Bones" with the acoustic set. That's my favorite. When they launch into There Goes My Hero.... oh man. Powerful stuff.

My wife and I lost our five-year-old son, Josiah to cancer and we've launched The Josiah Foundation in order to help kids in need. I'm climbing Mount Rainier in five weeks to raise money for kids with cancer and to provide adoption grant. Would love for you to jump on board even if it's only $10.

We can do more together than we can by ourselves. Thanks in advance.

I think the main question isn't, "is it wrong" but rather "is it wise?" If that's the filter then I think you can still bring a level of authenticity and transparency without being stupid and getting into trouble.

And I agree with Chris, digital relationships can (and in should) lead to face-to-face relationships but can't become a replacement for them.

You write... that's part of what you do and who you are. Nothing wrong with generating income from it just as a print author would. You could write a book and sell it and no one would have an issue there.

A similar comparison would be to charge a subscription fee for your blog... and see your readership drop.

Or you can adopt the TV broadcast model and have ads that are way less invasive. And besides... the ads seems to fit with the DNA of who you are and the blog anyway so no harm no foul IMO.

Stop kidding.. oh man. That's not good bro. I haven't tried it yet. I hear it's mixed. Like most of the time it's legit people but sometimes you gotta be ready to hit the "next" button quick. Guess you just got lucky and hit the jackpot.

Some great thoughts. I don't think it's demonizing excellent musical performances as much as spurring on worship across the spectrum of our lives. Evenzombie like repetitious prayer misses the point by making worship confined to a "quiet time" or corporate worship setting. I think the post does have some validity in that when the word "worship" is mentioned, most people think of the music kind with a band playing whether live or recorded. And, I think that's an incomplete definition of worship and that's why I reblogged it.
