Oh good, I'm glad *you're* confident that nothing will happen. That actually makes me feel way better. Hey experts! No reason to plan for emergencies: this random idiot on the Internet says that nothing will happen!

Is it just me, or does Beckner look *exactly* like "Dramatic Gopher" in that photo?

Oh definitely. We should blame bike thefts on the fact that people have money to buy nice bikes. I suppose you also believe that rape is due to too many pretty girls with too much makeup on?

Uh, they're VCs. They're going to have egos. If the only thing stopping you from being an entrepreneur is being scared of everyone else's egos, you were clearly not cut out to be an entrepreneur.

As commieboy says, I'm incredibly glad you're not a lawyer, because you have no flipping clue what you're talking about. Roger Kincaid *is*, by definition, the suspect. A suspect is a person who is *suspected* of committing a crime. Roger has been named by the police as being suspected of committing the crime, therefore he is a suspect. The goal of the courts is to find out if the suspect is, in fact, the *perpetrator* of the crime.

"Roger L. Kincaid stole $1500.00" and "the suspect stole $1500.00" are semantically identical, and the Camera could be sued for saying either of these. They could safely say either "the suspect allegedly stole $1500" or "the perpetrator stole $1500".

Please do some research before you start commenting on things which are out of your depth. You're ruining the interwebs for the rest of us.

Regardless of how overwhelming the evidence may be, it's still an allegation until he's proven guilty in a court of law. If, for whatever reason, he's acquitted, the Camera could be sued for libel for not using "allegedly" here.
