Politics and religion aside, this is one of the dumbest bills I've ever seen, due to the economy being the way it is right now. Aren't we in a "recession"? Wouldn't this put more people on unemployment and welfare? Correct me if I'm wrong...but, there are thousands of jobs being taken with this bill being passed. I actually work at a strip club in Springfield. Worked here for years. I'm divorced, pay over a $1000 in child support per month for 2 kids. Now, I may have to look for other work, make less money, pay less for the mother of my kids to take care of my children. I pay what I pay voluntarily. I make decent enough money for now to pay it. I don't work at an all nude club. We serve alcohol, therefore, the ladies wear covers and a g-string, minimum. There is absolutely no contact between patron and dancer. I've seen more contact at a dance club in town on the dance floor than I've ever seen at our establishment. It's ok for guys and gals to grind on each other while dancing, but a girl trying to make a buck can't strip down to her underwear?!
