You Seattle people are very gracious in your approach to Sacramento. Nice. I tend to think this potential deal might be a bit too late as well, but only because Sac is already at the wall. Time is almost completely up. With $400M still outstanding this is far from a complete group with a complete proposal. It could also damage KJ's effort to get a new arena deal done in Sac because there will be some NIMBYs pointing to this group saying that public financing is not even necessary.
I cannot be any more clear than this, I hate Nancy Pelosi. To me, she was the worst Pol in America when she was speaker. Fortunately, she has been neutered, at least for now. I am a registered Independent. There are plenty of politicians on both sides that I do not like, but Pelosi is one of the most hateful and divisive politicians in America. The sooner she goes away, the better.

I guess this woman doesn't understand that she lives in a police state. At any rate, I am having a hard time seeing where law enforcement had the legal authority to conduct a strip search upon this person. Apparently, all they had for reasonable cause was the report of "suspicious activity" from other passengers. What is "suspicious activity"? Kind of reminds me of "dangerousness" in the Cuban penal code. Shame.
This is what you get with the state running the show around here. I live in the Portland metro and buy all of my booze at Costco and BevMo around CA. You guys are close enough to just run across the border and tell the OLCC to stick it. The booze are a lot cheaper in CA than they are here, thanks to the government markups we find here. Tell the OLCC to take a hike and spend your money in CA.

I was driving up here from CA. The fine for littering in CA is $1000. I saw a sign on the 5 in Oregon that said the fine was $6250 for the same offense. How long before the police state penalizes the violator with EXECUTION?
