Very unfortunate for this woman and hopefully she has a full recovery. I had been more worried about rattlers lately after reading a trail review from someone who said they saw a "few rattlers". Honestly, it never really even crosses my mind that these guys are out there. I guess now I'll be looking for snakes!

Even if the middle class in Boulder had any fighting chance before, they certainly won't now.

Yes. Most (if not all) of the engineering jobs I have seen posted say that a masters or PhD is preferred. A BS is peanuts. However, they do have new university graduate positions, too.

It would have been way cooler if he yelled "Fire in the hole!", then pulled the pin and tossed it in the lake.

Very sad. Lightning is no joke, and we have been getting a lot of late afternoon thunderstorms. If a storm is rolling in, get off the mountain as fast as you can!

I paid $840/month at Canterwood in 2008 for a small one bedroom. That same apartment rents for $1400 today. Insane.

I'd say traffic on the diagonal is typically moving between 65-70 mph, even in rush hour. Oddly, I can't remember the last time I saw a cop taking radar on the diagonal between Boulder and 52.

Definitely a recipe for disaster when traffic moves that fast and cars are so close together.
