Congressmen have been called, messages have been left, and the only response received was some congressional lacky answers the phone, and seriously says "The congressmen understands your concerns and assures you that everything that is being done is for the good of the American people". As if we are some sort of petulant child! Glenn mentions frequently in his shows the disenfranchisement of the American people toward the government this is why.

I concede to your point about some lobbyists being good however a lot and I mean a lot of bad decisions are being made at the hands of some of the lobby groups. Something has to be done if not banning lobby groups all together something.

I have a hard time with these statistics. If you look back into the early to middle part of the 20th century you find a lot of women getting married and having children as young as 15 or 16. So I have to question is this really as epidemic as it seems?

That being said I have always had a problem with schools teaching sex ed that's what parents are for. Sex ed classes (at least when I went to public school) consisted of a one day class that started with a slide show that I must add displayed disgusting pictures of the effects of STD's. Then the teacher went on by showing a couple of diagrams of how sex works in closing she ended with a comment like if your going to have sex use contraception like a condom or the pill.

Teens are already dealing with the hormonal high of puberty and the sudden attraction to the opposite sex showing pictures of oozing STD's and saying don't forget to wear a rain coat and or dose yourself with hormones doesn't cut it. The parents should be talking to the kids about sex and pregnancy. If the schools have to be involved bring back the programs that discussed the responsibilities of child care, you know the take care of the bag of flower, or the constantly crying robot baby.

Parents also need to make it clear to their teens, if said teen has a baby it is the teens responsibility to take care of that baby end of story. Modern adolescents would be more inclined to not have sex and get pregnant if they realized a baby might get in the way of going to that hot party next Saturday.

Thank you! its great to actually get an answer! Personally I believe pilots should have the option, No questions asked. During times like these the pilots and passengers need all the protection they can get. Air marshals on every flight would also be a definite plus. These days we passengers need more protection not less.

The hijackers know the statistics what they don't know is which pilots are packing. Still I want to know what do the Pilots want? they are the ones doing the job.
