But Cameron's comments on the BBC suggested one of his targets is the Regional Development Agencies. He must know this is a non-starter if we stay in the EU. If we can't believe him on this - which clearly we can't, since he wants to keep us in the EU - how can we believe him on anything else?

I would think the prospect of Tony Blair as President of the EU will encourage many people to vote UKIP who otherwise might not.

People from other parts of the country may not know but the one and only train line to Plymouth and Cornwall runs alongside the sea wall at Dawlish. Every year, services are disrupted by storms and sea water washing over the line. The Western Morning News had a report in on 23rd June 2009 about the campaign for a new inland line. Interestingly, about 5 years ago, they were told that Dawlish is the only place in the world that would not be subject to sea level rises!

If we don't harness all the support and enthusiasm we have just generated, we are idiots! We have new members, a greater interest in politics by more of the public and a much higher profile. We must not let this dissipate!

They really must be desperate if this is all they can find to attack us.
Why aren't they extolling the virtues of the EU instead? Because that really is an impossible task?

Graham Watson has reason to be worried. At a UKIP stand in Cornwall this morning, they are having trouble giving out literature because the response from the majority has been 'Don't need it. Already decided to vote UKIP.'
The other problem for the LibDems is that they had control of the County Council and pushed through the change to a Unitary Authority, which is deeply unpopular down here. People are still angry about that as well.
