1. Sitemaps will stop generating. Essentially it fails to build/rebuild past a certain row. Even if you disable/re-enable sitemaps it will attempt to recreate the site map and throw a failure.

If you google the error you will see various people asking why Google sitemaps plugin is no longer working. Short answer, disable the feature that allows translator to integrate with Google site maps. Once I did this everything went back to normal and the sitemap rebuilt perfectly.

2. I also use Wassup, which once Translator and Google Sitemaps were 'working together' cratered. Wassup just stopped recording stats or even being able to display.

Mind you I might be a version behind (like one update on each), but using WP 2.6 with these plugins (which are within 3-4 months current), you can see some janky things happen.
