I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. I read BH regularly and I did a double-take after reading this hit piece, which frankly sounds eerily similar to ad hominem $hit pieces written by loony leftists.

I tend to agree that most celebrities are not worth paying attention to, and have brains the size of walnuts. I'm also libertarian and as conservative as they come.

Having said that, it is also true that even a broken clock is right twice a day. There are people with lots of letters after their names, but of less notoriety than this "celebrity," who have voiced the same concerns as she about vaccinations for years (but with much more eloquence and intellectual acumen). I don't think their claims can be dismissed lightly, especially knowing the track record of "big pharma."

BTW... Isn't Jackson just the producer of the film, not its director?

And, I agree, I too hate the overuse of the "shaky cam." Much more bothersome than the overuse of bullet-time and the music-video-like-slo-mo-take-of-the-actors-sauntering-towards-the-camera-like-badass-mo-fos-while-funky-music-plays-in-the-background. :-P
