I never said screw the rest. I actually had a job this year that got eliminated and I had to find a new job. I was told 90 days prior to the termination of my position and I immediately started looking for a different job. I feel for everyone who was told their jobs are almost over, but I am not going to allow someone to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. Quit lashing out at anyone you can get at and start submitting applications to find a job so you can CONTINUE supporting your family and paying your bills.
Obviously these employees had to know their jobs weren't exactly stable when their payroll checks started bouncing... it's not like you can just pretend that a hotel that operates at a deficit will survive an economy like this. Something big had to be done. It is tragic that so many will have to look for work, but at least they have 3.5 months to find something instead of being thrown out without warning at the end of February.
SPELLING, learn it. love it.
BREAKING NEWS: Batteries Found Dead in Posession of CR Police Officer - Foul Play Suspected
That's a stock photo. The phone number for the realtor on the sign is an Indiana number... I'm sure it is listed somewhere around 200-300k...
I absolutely agree. I quit almost 8 months ago, but there were times I just needed one - stressful day or what have you. If I could have gone out and bought one or two cigarettes for those times when I really felt the addiction, I probably could have quit sooner because I wouldn't have purchased a full pack (which is very tempting) in those instances.
So, what are they going to use instead of "light" or "mild"? I mean, those seem like good terms if you've ever tasted them... they may be just as dangerous, but they definitely taste lighter.
OK, fine... but still - $60,000 is a lot of money to budget for... especially when you're already struggling.
I was gonna say... sounds like we're getting a great leader...but, honestly - at what price???
That's a pretty hefty price tag for a City already up to its elbows in debt and negative budgets...
Apparently they're still lurking around to give some thumbs-downage.
I say tear it down and use the rubble to build a miniature "memorial" version. Same design, same materials, smaller scale, smaller price tag, more land to reuse for development... where's the bad?
