I get it now. I apologize for thinking you know how to read. If you will bother to educate yourself about the Census (I doubt you will, since you already know everything), you would understand that my sentence was about YOUR particular failure to comply. The Census will be back (THIS YEAR!) if you did not comply as stated It will likely be in August after they assemble lists of all the idiots like you who think they are cute. (Or perhaps they won't IF they were able to get enough information from a proxy neighbor to establish the number in your household on April 1.) In reality you aren't cute, but you did drive up the cost of conducting the Census, and help in your smallest of small ways to drive up the deficit.

And again Richard, is it three years or five? Since you have told two different stories, it is difficult to believe you. Are you related to Obama?

You are correct that the 2010 Census was poorly run, but part of the blame lies with people like you who don't want to comply based on ignorance and paranoia.

If you are a patriot, you know we live in a democracy, and legally passed statutes (even the ones you disagree with) need to be followed (just as Obama should be enforcing our immigration laws). I guess since you think you can pick which laws you wish to comply with, you live in a dictatorship of one. Obama and you are soul brothers!

In another post you say you lived there for five years. Which is it, three, or five? Your story fails to ring true based on your attitude and changing tale.

There is no indication the Census worker did not leave when requested. He was outside by the gate when police arrived if you will search for the actual accounts published about this incident. Or do homeowners own the sidewalk in Hawaii? The Census worker was an ex-New Jersey Policeman, and I wager would know the trespass laws better than you.

Your whining sounds very suspicious. If it was a first call, you would be correct about it being rude to call on Father's Day June 20 . But since the Census had likely been attempting repeatedly beginning the first week of May to contact you, it is pretty clear that if they were still trying SEVEN WEEKS later on Father's Day, and you must have been dodging them the entire time. That might have lots to do with why they were so insistent on the holiday.

Too bad so many so-called Conservative posters here think it is cute to waste tax dollars with their childish actions of not returning the Census form (even if they only answer the number in a household April 1), and then fighting NRFU enumerators trying to do the job. I probably got an extra 10 hours of pay this year due to these children posing as adults.

The problem with your story is the actual real Federal Law, and not your made-up fiction law, allows the Census taker to enter your gated community. Your security guard is an idiot too! If the community has been there long enough to be in public records, you all were sent forms in March. If some self-anointed do-gooder threw the forms away when found at your mail boxes, that too is a federal crime, and insured more tax dollars were wasted sending NRFU (non-response follow-up) enumerators out to collect the information. Thank you for seeing to it that more of my tax dollars are wasted!

And as much as I hate Obama, the Census was/is not HIS scam. And if you really were a true Conservative, you wouldn't be making baseless and inaccurate charges in your post.

I don't like Obama either, but you do realize the Census will be back again shortly don't you? Your methodology will not be accepted. My guess is (based on your tone, and my experience) YOU were the argumentative one. If he did as he was trained, when you refused, he should have left with no more discussion, and then filed an info-com form explaining what a jerk you are. After that, the Census would have come back later with a supervisor possibly. If that didn't work, they would likely obtain the information (maybe not accurately) from a neighbor with knowledge of your home on April 1.

You are just plain ignorant to hang the Census questions on Obama. And your actions cause the waste of far more tax dollars than simply sending in the form on time.
