Here's a story from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel about the exact same thing happening in Wisconsin.

Unbelievable. I'm astonished and actually disappointed in Jim. On further examination I see that he made further alterations to his original post -- without acknowledging it. All of that stuff in the last paragraph about "a backbencher may frame it in a more indirect British way of calling someone out..." was all added after the fact.

Presumably, this was done to create a slightly different impression in his characterization of how the House of Commons operates. How tacky and unnecessary. He could have simply added that language in a comment on his site or here to expand his point. That's a rather serious blogger breach. So phooey!

Oh, and for record, it should be noted that Jim has changed and corrected a phrase in his post that I had quoted in mine. His original "PM's Moment" now reads "PM's Question Time". Insofar as I went on to discuss that precise phrase in my post, we wouldn't want readers to count this as a one of my alleged "mischaracterizations." I certainly didn't misquote him. I copied and pasted the text directly from his original post.

Gee, golly. The missing link was an oversight for which I feel appropriately sheepish. I wish to extend a sincere apology (unlike Wilson's) for this error because I do encourage folks to read Jim's original post so that they can judge for themselves.
