I think perhaps you could have been a little clearer about what happened in the show. Larry did not piss on the picture intentionally - it was merely an accidental "splash back". I am a very conservative Christian and this did not offend me in the least. I think this is a bit of nitpicking. I didn't particularly find this portion of the episode to be very funny but it wasn't due to my considering offensive because I did not.
Hmm...if it weren't for the press obsessing this tool wouldn't be prezbo right now. While he has spent most of his time proving what a novice he is and walking this nation down a dangerous path he is now about to find himself barking up the tree that got him there. If they start trashing the media that made him he is further doomed. It seems pretty clear to me - media is hurting financially thanks to new web media, along comes a celebrity running for president - they need ratings so glorification begins. Said celebrity takes office, starts screwing up, losing his own party support and sees his approval numbers begin to fade. The media takes note and wakes up to the fact that their ratings will maintain if they slowly turn the screw as his numbers drop. Now let's just hope we can get back to journalism where they spout facts not adulation.
What is most interesting about the story is that we know by know that BO likes to prescreen his questions at "press conferences" - interesting he chose this completely irrelevant question unless he is trying to make a point. I guess this way they can say that he took questions on something other than the softball health care disaster he was selling.
I'm no scientist but it seems that if they can grab a school bus sized object in orbit would it be that big a deal to try to clean up some of the junk left floating around?
Seriously - what is this non-stop attempt to prevent the integration everyone was begging for not so long ago. We all know this is a huge double standard that exists but is it really acceptable to just write it off as some thinly veiled community support mechanism? Who really gives a damn about the color of the person at the store? Oh, wait apparently a growing number of black folk who have no stone or racism cast at them. Many years ago I started calling this growing phenomenon "extragation" since clearing being integrated isn't on the mind of some.
Sadly, taco stands or not - there will most likely be some diarrhea doing down tonight. Making a guess: in 1 week this Swine Flu is a non topic.
I might have made my own oops and not told the Senate. There has to be a better way to get term limits in place I suppose.
The solution - decoy. Since they promise "revenge" on US and French ships let's put a fleet of "cargo" ships that are loaded with rocket launchers, torpedos and US Navy crews in plain clothes and play catch me if you can. Figure by the time they catch on that they can't win we can take out a good 10-15% of the active ones as well as their ships. That should serve as a little lesson at least. The solution is so easy it is impossible to not do this - they wouldn't need to worry about political and legal fallout. If the pirates try to capture or attack one of the ships - game on and game over.
well, well, well...another shining example of getting suckered in by campaign deception. a crying shame that 99.5% of those who feel for it hook, line and sinker will be oblivious to this. They will retort with "well Bush spent money on the war and you nut job whacko republicans didn't complain" as part of the continued pathetic effort to save their egos in the face of the disaster they have put in office. I personally say the money has to be spent to finish the job so I won't argue with that logic just like I didn't argue with it under Bush (consistency democrats - look into it). Can I call supporters of Obama warmongers now? Should we try Obama as a war criminal now dearest supporters? I'm afraid it would be cruel to do so as they are suffering the fate of their hyped up dillusion enought already. Hopefully a handful have realized how gullible this man is making them look and they can save the error of their ways in the future.
