Five more years to turn America into the USSA...or save it from destruction by voting in November for ABO (Anyone But Obama).
Lazy, we are? Wait until next November, Barack. We'll show you how lazy we are.
I love it when the media gets a smackdown, and they launch into high umbrage: "Harrumph! How dare you! We have every right to hound you over and over again with the same questions that you've already answered!" Until the next news cycle. Then they'll forget.
Herman Cain is going to be the nominee, in spite of Bill Krystol, Charles Krauthammer, Susan Estrich, Mitt Ronmey, Ron Paul, and all of the talking heads who think they know all.
Facelift or not, this woman is not quite working with all of her marbles. Aside from being an arrogant crook, and socialist, she's really missing a few. But look, she lives in a district of moonbats, who elect her every time.
Actually I have five cars, a house, an education, a job, and extensive knowledge of the principles of music theory from J.S. Bach to Gaga. I know genius when I hear it, and The Who was always a stretch for me. Two songs were great. The rest: history and broken guitars. As I said, if they were so great, they'd have created something of substance over the length of forty years. I remember listening to Tommy when it came out. Pretentious, but transformative. But really, if Roger Daltrey hadn't taken off his shirt, and they hadn't started smashing their guitars, would they really be considered so great?
Okay, here we go, since I have been listening to rock since the 1950's, if you remember: (1) Les Paul, the inventor of the electric guitar; (2) Jimi Hendrix, the greatest of them all, even when clean; (3) Jimmy Page, second greatest, and in his sleep, with opposite hands and upside down, like young Mozart at the clavier, better than Townshend on a good day; (4) this is getting boring, it is so easy...but I'll update it to add The Edge, just to get something down. I could go on forever firing up you children.
Actually I am a Gaga fan, now that you have intuited some aspect of my musical acumen. At least Gaga has classical music training, has perfect pitch, can sing (contrary to the tone-deaf Townshend), and has a brain.
I am 67. I grew up on rock-'n-roll, from its beginning. I have education and eclectic musical taste--and perfect pitch. And Pete Townshend (aside from being a ...phile, was an average guitarist).
I love it when has-beens who haven't recorded anything of merit in forty years complain about how the world has changed.
Okay, Obama has embraced his "people," and we get the message loud and clear. This is what "community organizers" do. They rant and rave for socialist utopia (aka Marxist dictatorship), turn violent when their perverse aims and practices get policed, and cry foul when they break the law. Keep it all on the news, I say, and maybe, just maybe, the Republican nominee will carry every single state in the union. But these thugs won't go down easily. They will commit voter fraud on a massive basis. They will try to disrupt the conventions. They will stop at nothing, nothing, to achieve their aims.
