I am really looking forward to the Nov 3rd showing of the special on McCartney and the glory years of our Buffs. Could be the highlight of my football season. What an amazing time it was. I cried at the end of the Iowa State game in '94 when he announced he was leaving.....So high after Salaam broke the run down the east sidelines to so low when KOA announced Mac was leaving....
So I re-watched the game. It does appear that execution was terrible. How in the world can you throw deep when it is a fire drill every time you drop back in the pocket. My biggest complaint against the OC is the players don't appear to have improved. A D1 coach needs to be able to recruit, and then develop the players. Didn't look like the players were developed over the long off season...
We will and should win this game by a large margin. Period.
Huge game. A win is essential. Win this one and it sets us up for a great pre season. We have a hard time getting to 7 without this. Only 4 pac XII wins since we joined in 2011. Let this be the season we change that trend as well. Heading home for a nap so I can be fresh when we kick off. Go Buffs. Leave it all on the field. Win this one!!!!

You know, we could do it……A lot of intangibles finally lining up for us. For example, wouldn't meet Arizona until the final game. Lets do it. Why not???

I meant that Tad has some time by the time next season rolls around. This season is obviously lost.
Here is some hope. I believe in Tad. He has some time to change this team. Some players will get it, others will ride the bench or be gone. Big X and Josh are the keys. They can truly be special players. Wes showed a lot of improvementg and he can be a beast. Tad will earn his keep by coaching Dom up to be a D1 guard. A great manager learns and changes. Tad seems willing to do that. Here is hoping and praying that the magic returns to the CEC.
