These people are " technically " state employees b/c they were hired BY THE STATE to perform the work....They may not physically be on WSDOT paper but believe me they are in fact state employees until the contract ends, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!

SO I am wondering when Olympia or hell ANYONE for that fact will actually have the ' BALLS " to step up and actually institute some form of accountability no matter how small?

Because these are state employees who are paid outrageous sums of money to do a job they were specifically hired for based on their experience or skill set or in this case, drinking abilities.

Every single person captured on video drinking needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY, no paid leave just OUTRIGHT FIRED. Anybody else no matter the job would immediately be reprimanded or fired on the spot yet this kind of blatant disregard for their position because of their stature constantly occurs in this state and as a taxpayer I am sick of it.

Do these people NOT realize that they are putting themselves in serious danger of being in the unemployment line by engaging in this type of behavior? Yes they may have a cushy job with a PHAT salary but all it takes ( especially in this economy ) is one slip up and boom, you're hitting the food bank and applying for govmt. assistance... IDIOTS, all of them.
