They have an "Apple Cup" day also, where students can wear Husky or Cougar colors, or their uniforms. All other colleges are left out.

Often there are "civi" days for only certain groups of students, those on the honor roll or those that participated in a school wide fundraiser, or just the eighth graders... the rest get left out and have to wear their regular uniforms on those days.

At 1yr and 2yr old we just did a visit or walk-by because my daughter was terrified. This year at 3 yr she ran right up to hug Santa when we saw him just before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately she got a nasty bruise on her forehead two days after Thanksgiving and now the lines are so long... The Santa pic may have to wait until next year.
