Yes Iain, sell him, he is rubbish !!!! If Zola had sold Cole and not Zamora Zola would still have a job and we would be in Prem still.
I think that it is a really great thing for the club. Far too much has been said about the running track. The old Wembley had seats further away from the pitch than what will happen here, and that was a great stadium. The only real problem i have is what league will West Ham be in by start of the 2014/15 season ?? We will prob go down this season, so we then have 3 years to get back up and to be able to sustain prem league status.
I can not understand why guys are saying keep hold of Cole. Has he ever been a prolific striker ?? No. Will he ever be ?? No. Get rid, i think he is vastly over rated at 4 mil. You can all slate me if you want, but i really can't see what all the fuss is about.
It sounds like the author of that article thinks he is much more important than he actually is and he is obviously a looser of the biggest order. I read this site first, every day, and enjoy news, comments and debate. Keep it up Iain, and SJ and Reece.
We do seem to being linked with a lot of players, of which NONE are English or British. I know we have a good crop of young home grown players allready, but i wouldn't like to see an over reliance on foreign mediocrity.
Welcome Reece, glad you are adding news info daily, you are doing great mate, but i do disagree with your valuation of Carlton Cole. I'm affraid i rate him about as much as my dog in the striker front, and i think if we can get 8 million for him thats 7 million too much LOL !!! Is it just me, or do other guys out there think he's not up to it ??
