We, the voters, are the electorate. There are indeed many folks who are fed up with what's going on in this country, but we aren't all fed up with the same things.

The hatred and prejudice against gay people is long standing. We would both be fools not to recognize this. Gay people have been demonized, but now you are so sad that you are a " victim" because people think you are mean for opposing equal rights for you fellow citizens.

You say there are legitimate reasons for opposing gay marriage. I haven' t heard any yet.

That only shows that hate is a more powerful mobilizing force than tolerance.

If it looks like Romney will win, invest heavily in Continental Resources. I have a hunch they will do well.

Close the TSA! If I get blown up, at least I'll have my shoes on and avoid body scans.

Are you against roads? Are you against air traffic control? Do you think corporations should be able to pollute with impunity? Do you believe it is to all of our benefit to educate our children?

If there is any government at all, it needs to be funded. If funding isn't equal to costs there will be debt. Debt reflects this imbalance.

I believe there are legitimate functions of government.

I think they are both in the pockets of corporations, but that doesn't mean there is no difference. There are differences in social services, education, health care and civil rights. The parties have more in common than I would like, but there is still a difference.

I don't think our national debt is the major issue. It is an issue that could easily be remedied by tax increases and ending the war. The debt is being used to push an agenda that hurts average Americans by gutting infrastructure, education, social services, food safety, health care, environmental protection, and science. Debt is a boogeyman being used to cause us to surrender more of our country and rights to multinational corporations. Read "The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein. You will see what is being planned for us.
