Reminds me of a Startrek when Kirk and co. ended up on a planet where the "progressive" thinkers outlawed the "horrors" of war. When the enemy computer virtually destroyed a city - all the inhabitants were duty bound to walk into the elimination chambers. The other is the "Time Machine" - When the sirens went off the Eloi blindly marched into the tunnels to be eaten by the Morlocks. A good read for these days would be George Orwell"s "Animal Farm"

As we approach the 82nd day of Jimmy Carters 2nd term, the situation here will soon end. Eventually food and water will run out and the MSM will report that Mr. Os calm, non reactionary methods ended the crisis without bloodshed.

Jack, been reading your posts, I firmly beleive that you believe that harsh gun control would solve most of the crime problems. Well, most of us beleive that it wont. One way we expess that belief is by having NRA stickers on our homes and cars. Golly, some of us even have gun racks in our pickups. How about if you print yourself up a sign that says "THERE ARE NO FIREARMS IN THIS HOUSE" and proudly display it on your door or front window. Publicly express your convictions!
