Slippery slope. Nichelle, George, and Walter could come back and "meet themselves", too.

Best way to move forward is to do "City On The Edge Of Forever" the way it was originally written, maybe even add a bit to fit in the new Vulcan/Romulan story elements. Otherwise, just give us the Klingons and get on with it!

It's a "good" Mel Gibson form "Ransom". not entirely sold that Butler was the best choice for this role. He was good, but I wonder actually if this might have been a gig for Kevin Spacey. I like Butler, really, and it worked, just saying.

His first feature as far as I can tell, was "Blizzard" in 2003. He has done a lot of TV. He's written a book that you may be interested in, called "Aftermath". It's very Butler-ish sci-fi. Would make an interesting film, I think.
