There's a special layer of hell waiting for MB and his greedy ridiculousness. He ought to take that 200 mil cash that he rolls around in naked every night and split it up to all the Hamilton Co. folks who gave him a place to make it. Last time I checked, the Bengals are worth around 900 mil. If he already owns 70% of that, he can find the remaining cash in a sofa cushion or something to purchase the rest.

I didn't think about that either. I asked to Hemingway before and heard crickets. I accidentally told him my handle on here in the petition I sent today. Pretty sure he looks on here enough to realize that I comment in the new bar under the handle and I don't on the main page under my real name that was in the email. Wonder if that influences his decision or if he has so many days to fill that it won't matter.

I came short of telling him when I requested to do a fill-in TML that he's not broadcasting from Youngstown, it's just that the factory has moved to a new town and someone is feeding the listeners via satellite. You have to feel like he knows about this site. I hate that this might mean the TML Bar closes down forever, but if Gannett would just look at this site for ten minutes, they'd see that the excuses they made for the facebook switch (which were bogus to begin with) simply don't hold water. Nobody is calling anyone else names or trolling or any of that other stuff. I have a facebook, but what's the point of commenting on the regular page when every one with anything decent to say is on here? Plus, I don't want just anyone to be able to have a direct link to my profile. RIP TML indeed.

Do you think that maybe in the cases of sports it's handled as a personnel matter instead of legal one? There was a story from NKU a couple of weeks ago where some grad assistants under the AD stole meal vouchers worth several hundred dollars and nothing was done from a criminal standpoint because the matter was handled internally as a personnel issue. I know that it's sort of a different situation, but in both cases the students are being essentially compensated for their "work" for the athletic depts. It's completely speculative, but maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm more worried about all of the possible free agents getting gobbled up by other diners not named Castellini.
