If you are going to continue living on the river, shut up and deal with it. I saw a lady on the news about this the other night that I have known for probably 6 years now. She has been complaining of flooding for probably 6 years now. You have 2 options ~ (1) Move, (2) Zip it!
I thought he crashed in court! lol
I did. I was being sarcastic.
Let me clarify that. I meant residents, in regards to the way everyone was getting "hurt" with their yardies. Just being sarcastic.
If people would recycle like they should, there would be no need for a 90-lb. capacity garbage can. Next thing will be somebody complaining because they hurt themselves lugging a garbage can that is too heavy!
You mean like the one at the top of the page where the video is?
I didn't see any anywhere either when I ventured out Friday afternoon. Also, I live on the same street (2 blocks up) from the Streets Dept. and we still haven't been plowed. They get paid good money and this is the job they chose, so people don't need to feel sorry for them.
"People are trapped in their homes indoors,” Damsteegt said. What does that mean? We don't have enough snow to be trapped indoors. I agree with 'sometimes 'and 'helpyouout', people look for excuses. I've never understood people who just sit around and feel sorry for themselves. Life is too short for that.
Here is an idea: Why don't vets make it affordable to have your pet spayed or neutered, then maybe there wouldn't be this influx of unwanted animals. I find it hard to believe that this many animals are somebodys "missing" pets. I don't understand people that just discard pets like they are an old toy they have tired of playing with.
