I think what we have to do to get our government back is to orgainize in our local areas, and pick an independent to represent us, then promote that person by holding educational meetings, e-mail, and any other way you can think of. If we can get enough independents that will vote on principles, we the people can fix the government. It has to start in the local areas and be nationwide to work. We are going to start by holding meetings at peoples houses. At the meetings we will track what the government is doing and educate people about the Principles, Values, and the constitution.
The reason the Founding Fathers set us up with so many representatives was to protect our Country. If you only have a few people making laws it is easier for them to be bought off. It is easier to corrupt 10 people than 100 people. Another reason was so that you wouldn't end up with a majority party. They figured that with that many representatives there would be many parties so the parties would have to work together and one group wouldn't have complete control. It's not designed for only 2 parties. To work right there needs to be at least 3 parties and the more the better so you get different ideas and work together.
