They hydrogen bombs weren't necessary. Effectively, the war had already been won by the allied forces. In fact, Eisenhower himself is quoted as saying that the use of the bomb wasn't necessary. To say that the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima saved millions of lives is a lie.
Maybe this is a case where we both need to pull our head out of our ass. The fact is both sides are guilty. Murder of innocent civilians no matter who is doing it or to what scale is unjust. Whether it's Palestine, Israel, America, Iran, or whichever.
